- By using the SSCNET conversion unit DG2GWY31, the A/QN Motion controller or AD75M/QD75M Positioning module can be upgraded to the QDS Motion controller, QD Motion controller, stand-alone Motion controller, or simple Motion module.

- Since two SSCNET lines (up to 16 axes in total) can be upgraded to one SSCNET III/H line (up to 16 axes in total), two SSCNET lines can be upgraded to SSCNET III/H with one SSCNET conversion unit.

- The A/QN Motion controller or AD75M/QD75M Positioning module and the servo amplifiers/servo motors can be upgraded separately, so the machine suspension time is shorter than when upgrading the control system and the drive system at the same time.
