Replaceable series: MELSEC-A series to MELSEC iQ-R/Q series

- 1) Conversion adapter
- The existing MELSEC-A series wiring can be connected to the MELSEC iQ-R/Q series replacement programmable controller.

- 2) Base adapter
- A MELSEC iQ-R/Q series replacement programmable controller base unit can be installed using installation holes in the MELSEC-A series base unit.

- 3) Conversion adapter support flange
- Secures the bottom of the conversion adapter.
- Program Conversion Flow
- *1: Manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric
*2: GX Developer, GX Works2, and GX Works3 have to be installed.
*3: GX Developer does not support all MELSEC-Q series CPU module types.

Replacement with the MELSEC iQ-R series
- Utilization of the Mitsubishi Electric extended temperature range base unit
- ● 2-slot type conversion adapters cannot be used.
Replacement with the MELSEC-Q series
- Utilization of the Mitsubishi Electric Q series large type base unit and the Q series large type I/O module
- ● The Q series large type base unit has the same dimensions as the MELSEC-A series programmable controller. Drilling of additional holes is not required.
● Can be used together with a Q series large type I/O module.
● 2-slot type conversion adapters cannot be used.
